What Regulates Occupational Safety Training in Russia

Occupational safety training in Russia is regulated by the following legal acts:

Labor Code of the Russian Federation
Article 225 of the Labor Code establishes the employer’s obligation to organize training and knowledge testing on occupational safety requirements for employees.

The employer is required to conduct occupational safety training for all employees and to carry out knowledge testing at a specified frequency. Certain categories of employees (such as occupational safety specialists and managers) must undergo training at specialized training centers.
