

SOUT
A special assessment of working conditions is a set of measures carried out to assess the compliance of working conditions, the severity and intensity of the labor process at workplaces and their risk of injury with the requirements of regulatory documents in the field of technical regulation and regulatory legal acts on labor protection, identification of harmful production factors and (or) dangerous production factors.
The SAUT is conducted by the employer in conjunction with an organization engaged by the employer to perform work on a special assessment, on the basis of a civil law contract.
The SAUT includes:
- A comprehensive instrumental study of the physical, chemical, and biological factors of the production environment, the severity and intensity of the labor process in the workplace;
- Justification for classifying a workplace as a class and degree of harmfulness and danger of work;
- Justification for assigning production, institutions, jobs, professions, positions and indicators to lists No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 entitling to preferential pension provision;
- Justification of annual additional leave for work in unfavorable working conditions and the special nature of work;
- Confirmation (establishment) of the existence or absence of the right of employees to preferential pension benefits for work in unfavorable working conditions;
- Identification of factors and causes of unfavorable working conditions;
- Resolution of disputes that may arise between legal entities and citizens (employees) regarding the assessment of working conditions and the availability of benefits;
- Development of measures to improve working conditions and prevent occupational diseases.
